Fists of Fury
Bruce Lee strikes again. Bruce Lee's fighting style alone makes any of his movies worth watching. He’s much like a one punch man with a bad attitude. Truly the epitome of badass. There’s a good plot here- two martial arts schools battling each other- representing the Chinese against the Japanese- certainly an emotional topic at its deeper roots. The movie goes out with a serious bang too.

4/5
You really can’t talk about this movie without discussing perhaps the most badass kung fu fight scene of all time: when Bruce retaliates against the Japanese schools taunts and whoops everyone in the Japanese dojo. From the nunchuck scene to the final master duel Bruce Lee’s vehement style leave few other fight scenes to compete with this one.
Some other scenes that stood out to me were the no dogs and no Chinese as well as making the Chinese interpreter crawl out like a dog. Vivid and real stuff- sad to know a lot of this is based in reality. Bruce handles the situations as you’d expect and whoops everyone’s ass.
There is also the notable portrayal of the Chinese being super chill and pacifist while the Japanese school just keeps instigating fights.
The deeper cultural ties this movie contains brings this to ⅘ stars for me and Bruce Lee's huge and intense style is more than worth watching alone.
